She was accepted to the ENSTBB, a 3-year selective school specialised in biotechnology in Bordeaux, where she completed her Bachelor\u2019s degree equivalence after one year, followed by her Master\u2019s degree after two years. As part of her studies, she did an internship every year in both public and private sectors in France and the UK. Fervent traveller, she also decided to take a gap year between her second and third year to gain additional experience in the lab in the UK and do a semester abroad at RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) in Australia, and ended it with a personal trip in Asia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">1<sup>st<\/sup> year internship (3 months), Swansea University, UK, \u201cHost\/Pathogen responses to biomaterials, measuring biocompatibility and infection\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">2<sup>nd<\/sup> year internship (4 months), Cell Guidance Systems, Cambridge, UK, \u201cDevelopment of the POlyhedrin Delivery System (PODS) technology by virus genome editing and extension of the catalogue of PODS Growth Factors\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Gap year internship (5 months), F-star, Cambridge, UK, \u201cLead Selection, Optimisation and Characterisation of two different mAb\u00b2 bispecific monoclonal antibodies\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">End-of-studies internship (6 months), Treefrog Therapeutics, Bordeaux, France, \u201cStudying the growth and quality of 3D encapsulated human induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (hiPSCs) and their differentiation into functional cardiomyocytes using the C-STEM encapsulation technology\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Alongside her studies and placements, she has developed a sincere interest in medical research and development, especially in the field of immunology, using techniques in cell culture, molecular biology, and protein chemistry. Enthusiastic and curious, she is excited to work on this ARCAID project with all the other ESRs.
